Subject Guide
This
subject guide covers chemistry resources available at the Johnston
Memorial Library, including full-text journals, magazine, and newspaper
articles, chemistry websites, and printed materials in the Reference
Collection. This is not a comprehensive subject guide, but rather
a selective list of materials that are most useful for locating information
in this field. Library location and call number are provided
for print publications.

Provides online access to peer-reviewed journal focusing on science,
technology, and medicine.

A one-stop source for news and periodical articles on a wide range
of topics: chemistry, computers, current events, economics, education,
and much more.

(via Engineering Village 2)
Provides access to bibliographic citations covering literature
in engineering and technology. Includes EiCompendex, U.S. patents,
and industry specifications and standards.
- Dissertation
Abstracts
Index to dissertations on all subject fields.
- INSPEC
Provides access to leading scientific and technical literature
in physics, electrical engineering, electronics, communications,
control engineering, computers and computing, and information
technology.
- MEDLINE
Medical topics relating to research, clinical practice, administration,
policy issues, and health care services. Covers 1993 to present.
- SciFinder
Scholar
Provides access to the CAplus database of chemical literature
and U.S. and foreign chemical-related patents, to CASREACT, to
the Registry database from Chemical Abstracts Service, and to
Medline. It includes journal articles, book chapters, patents,
conference proceedings, technical reports, substance database
and dissertations covered in Chemical Abstracts as well as articles
currently being indexed, book reviews and biographical information.
