If you have a good monitor you'll get a sense of the potential for digitized images. The United States' national museum is actually composed of 16 museums and galleries, the National Zoo and numerous research facilities, with more than 240 million artifacts and specimens in its collections. Each of the facilities has a Web site and fantastic online exhibits of its holdings.
